Back Channel

At the recent mesh conference in Toronto, conference participants were able to access a backchannel. The conference participants, equipped with free wireless and their laptops, discussed online what the speakers were saying as they said it. At one point, the backchannel was displayed on a screen beside the speaker. It offers a great way to exchange ideas during a conference but perhaps a little disconcerting for the speaker. Imagine this tool let loose amongst lawyers?
